On the April 12 episode, The Public Enemy is in action. Ray Odyssey debuts against Jimmy Snuka. In what will go on to be a major rivalry, we see The Sandman & Tommy Dreamer in action against each other. Shane Douglas teams up with Mr Hughes to beat down Mike Norman & Chad Austin. On the April 19 episode, 911 takes on Crash the Terminator. JT Smith defends the ECW TV championship against The Pitbull. In a match between two hardcore legends, Terry Funk goes at it with Sabu. Two wrestling legends make their ECW debuts, Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton.

Jesse “The Body” Ventura returns to approve Mick Foley’s Triple Threat Main Event for Stone Cold to defend the championship against Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho at King of the Ring. Tag Team Champs Benoit & Jericho defend against Stone Cold & Mr. McMahon on Smackdown from 06/07/01. On Smackdown from 06/14/01 Stone Cold petitions to put a stop to his King of the Ring title defense. Stone Cold, also runs into a problem Spike Dudley!
